International Christian relief organization Feed the Children is dedicated to providing necessities such as clothing, medicine, food, and other everyday essentials to families, children, and individuals who are deprived of these needs due to famine, poverty, war, or any devastating natural disaster.

Since the foundation’s inception in 1979, Feed the Children has expanded and become one of the world’s biggest and most significant private organizations with a mission focused on helping people who are hurting and hungry. In 2007, the group was able to ship 135 million pounds worth of food and other necessities to numerous families and children in all 50 American states and in around 32 countries worldwide. The program was able to provide more than 800,000 meals a day throughout the world.

For the duration of its existence, Feed the Children was able to reach out and extend their help towards children and families in more than a hundred countries around the globe. The foundation is driven to offer assistance to families in need, in order for them to become self-sufficient community members. This year, 2009, the foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary of reaching out to children and families worldwide by continuing its focus on the plight of the hungry across the globe at the same time welcomes support from individuals and businesses that share the same passion and mission.
